David Moyes’s West Ham United have been linked with a move for Everton midfielder Alex Iwobi.

According to Football Transfers, West Ham United are interested in signing Alex Iwobi from Premier League rivals Everton in the summer transfer window.

The report has claimed that West Ham have “registered an interest” in Iwobi.

The former Arsenal midfielder is among a number of players Everton have told they can leave in the summer of 2023, according to the report.

Everton midfielder Alex Iwobi could flourish at West Ham United

We believe that Everton midfielder Alex Iwobi would be a good signing for West Ham United at the right price.

That the Toffees are reportedly open to selling the Nigeria international midfielder suggests that they are not going to ask an astronomical amount for him.

Everton paid Arsenal an initial £28 million for Iwobi in August 2019 (Sky Sports).

If West Ham can get Iwobi for around that sum, then it could prove to be a good deal.

Iwobi is 27 now and is at the top of his game, and he could flourish under manager David Moyes at West Ham.

The Nigerian has extensive experience in the Premier League and will be able to make an immediate impact at the Hammers.

Iwobi made 38 appearances in the Premier League for Everton last season.

The 27-year-old scored two goals and gave seven assists in those games.

The Nigerian has made 221 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.

Iwobi has scored 17 goals and given 27 assists in those games.

West Ham will aim to finish in the top half of the Premier League table at least next season.

And the Hammers, who won the UEFA Europa Conference League last season, will play in the UEFA Europa League as well.
