Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice and Tottenham’s Dominic Solanke have reacted to a message from exit-linked Nottingham Forest defender Ola Aina.
The Tricky Trees have enjoyed a remarkable season under Nuno Espirito Santo, but their 2-0 loss to Man City on Sunday (27 April) ended their chance of capping it off with a trophy.
Whilst devastating for the players and fans, the loss may be a blessing in disguise with Forest now able to focus wholly on qualifying for the Champions League.

Having been forced to miss out on featuring against the Sky Blues due to a calf injury, Aina shared several photos of himself enjoying the occasion on the side-lines, captioned: “Proud of the boys. We keep moving”.

Having established himself as one of the Premier League’s top-performing defenders earlier in the season, Aina garnered interest from Man City.
The former Chelsea defender was seen as an ideal replacement for Kyle Walker who joined AC Milan on loan in January.
Whilst no move materialised in the winter window, Aina’s future remains clouded in uncertainty.

Zach Abbott scored the winning penalty as the final ended 0-0 after extra time, meaning the academy stars had to show great composure to hold their nerve in the shootout.
They had the perfect group to take inspiration from, though, as the first team triumphed in three shootouts to reach the FA Cup semi-final. Stars of the senior squad were therefore quick to appreciate the impressive nature of the victory.
