Wolves Want ‘Phenomenal’ Premier League Star to Replace Cunha..
Wolverhampton Wanderers are among a host of Premier League clubs showing interest in Liverpool star Harvey Elliott, according to talkSPORT journalist Alex Crook.
Vitor Pereira’s side have reportedly identified the 22-year-old attacking midfielder as a potential replacement for Matheus Cunha, who is expected to be sold in the upcoming window.
The Brazilian is believed to be in advanced talks to become Manchester United’s first summer signing under Ruben Amorim, with the Red Devils expected to pay his £62.5m release clause in instalments.
Cunha’s departure would leave Wolves with a big void to fill in Pereira’s squad, as he is their top scorer this season with 15 goals in 30 league appearances.

According to Crook, Liverpool are looking to make a hefty profit on academy graduate Elliott this summer as they value the 22-year-old in excess of £40m.
Elliott has publicly admitted he is considering his future away from Anfield after struggling to impress Arne Slot this season, making just one Premier League start and 14 further appearances off the bench.
The English midfielder has been in Liverpool’s ranks since joining from Fulham as a 16-year-old and has amassed 144 senior appearances to date, scoring 14 goals and providing 19 assists.
He was a useful squad player under Jurgen Klopp over the past two seasons, missing just 10 league games and registering 15 goal contributions.

Wolves face strong competition for Elliott this summer, as GIVEMESPORT previously revealed that at least three Premier League clubs are chasing the 22-year-old.

Man Utd have identified Wolves forward Matheus Cunha as a prime target heading into the summer window.
Wolves forward Matheus Cunha has sent a message on social media amid interest from Manchester United.
United are reportedly eyeing up a move for Cunha ahead of the summer transfer window as they look to bolster Ruben Amorim’s attacking options. The Brazil star has been a standout performer for Wolves this season – netting 15 Premier League goals in 30 appearances so far in 2024/2025.
Even though he put pen-to-paper on a new contract at Molineux earlier this campaign, it is anticipated the 25-year-old could be on his way out at Molineux – with a hefty £62.5 million release clause included in his current agreement. The Manchester Evening News understands that Cunha is “optimistic” that a transfer to Old Trafford could happen this summer.
And their forward has now posted on his Instagram story as he looks to end the season strongly for Vitor Pereira’s side. Cunha posted a picture of himself with Wolves teammates, alongside the caption: “Joaooooo where are you?” in reference to midfielder João Gomes, who is absent from the team photo.
Earlier this season, Cunha spoke of his desire to challenge himself and making the next step in his career.
“I had a lot of offers but I wouldn’t feel well if I had done it” he told The Guardian in March.
