Jarrett Stidham will start for the Denver Broncos against the Las Vegas Raiders in Sunday’s season finale at Allegiant Stadium, head coach Sean Payton officially announced on Monday morning.
Russell Wilson will be benched and Josh Stidham will start against the Los Angeles Chargers, Payton announced last Wednesday. According to Payton’s most recent update, Russell Wilson will start as the backup for Stidham in the season’s final game.
This move might mean that Russell Wilson’s time with the Broncos is coming to an end, particularly if the team chooses to cut him loose in the offseason.
