Dolphins won’t play an international game in 2024.

The Philadelphia Eagles have been chosen to host the opening Week 1 match of the upcoming season in Brazil.

The Miami Dolphins won’t play another foreign match during the regular season in 2024.

That was made official on Monday at the Super Bowl in Las Vegas by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, who revealed that the Philadelphia Eagles would host the first-ever regular season game in Brazil.

That game is going to take place on Friday night during opening week, which is Friday, September 7.

The Dolphins will not be playing in the 2024 season because they are not expected to play the Eagles. Because they are the only NFL team with marketing rights in Brazil, there was once thought to be a good chance the Dolphins would win that game.

Additionally, the Dolphins are not slated to play any of the other teams that have been designated as the home teams for the European games.

The Jacksonville Jaguars will make a return trip to Wembley Stadium as part of their multi-year commitment to play a game in the United Kingdom; the Carolina Panthers will be the home team at Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany; and the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings will each be the home team for a game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.

In 2023, the Dolphins lost a 21-14 decision against the Kansas City Chiefs in Frankfurt, Germany.

The dates and times of the Dolphins’ schedule will be revealed in the spring, typically in May, even though everyone knows who they will be playing.

Buffalo, New England, New York Jets, Jacksonville, Tennessee, Las Vegas, Arizona, and San Francisco are the Dolphins’ home opponents in 2024.
