The international break is a ‘wonderful opportunity’ for Aston Villa to ‘learn from our mistakes,’ according to Ty Bracey.
We’re thrilled to welcome Aston Villa podcaster Ty Bracey as our exclusive Aston Villa columnist; each week, he’ll share his thoughts on the club’s most pressing issues…

According to Ty Bracey, the international break has arrived at a “great time” for Aston Villa to iron out blunders that have made them appear “completely out of their depths.”

Most football fans view the international break as an unwelcome interruption to the more exciting Premier League season, but Unai Emery, coming off a terrible performance in a 3-0 loss to Liverpool, will welcome the opportunity to improve ahead of their match against Crystal Palace

the season resumes.

With significant injuries challenging Emery, including Alex Moreno and Jacob Ramsey, the pause in league fixtures could provide Villa with the needed respite to reorganise and fix their obvious defensive issues.

Ty Bracey is delighted about the idea of a break in matches since it allows Emery to make these changes, stating that his team has the opportunity to “learn from their mistakes” following disappointing performances against Liverpool and Newcastle.

Bracey told Villa News exclusively: “I think it’s a great time to get some players back in the mix.” That’s critical, and getting players back to full condition will be crucial.

“I’m not sure if Alex Moreno or Jacob Ramsey will be ready after the international break, but having those guys back fit is critical.”

“All we have to do now is learn from our mistakes [against Liverpool].” So far, we’ve looked absolutely out of our depth in two games. We didn’t fare well against Liverpool or Newcastle.

“I don’t mind if we lose as long as we appear to have a game plan.” It just didn’t appear to be anything going on, and Liverpool were clearly superior than us.”

In other Aston Villa news, Alan Hutton has spoken out about a Villa player who Emery “obviously trusts” following transfer rumors.
