Daniel Farke now claims that a ‘high class’ Leeds player is putting in incredible performances in training.

Leeds United manager Daniel Farke was eager to compliment Charlie Cresswell following yesterday’s great triumph over Watford.

Despite not playing a single minute, Farke was quick to stress out that the 21-year-old was critical to the victory.

Farke praised Cresswell’s approach in Leeds training, saying he was really pushing players like Pascal Struijk.

Farke stated at his news conference through Leeds Live that Cresswell was ready to play if anyone’s levels slipped.

“I don’t just praise the players on the pitch today, like our centre-backs, but it’s also good to have players like Charlie Cresswell,” Farke remarked.

“He ensures that he trains every training session with top-notch performances and mentality.”

“He keeps the pressure up because players like Pascal, Joe, and Liam know they can’t afford to play with two percent less concentration.”

“Because there is a top-tier player who is rooting for his success.”

And these remarks speak well for Cresswell’s future at Leeds under Farke.

Cresswell is ready to play for Leeds, according to Farke.

Leeds, of course, have a very solid Championship center-back department.

And, as he demonstrated during his loan spell at Millwall last season, Cresswell is ready to start for many teams at this level.

Farke’s comments show that he, too, believes Cresswell is unlucky to be missing out at Leeds right now.

Nonetheless, the 21-year-old appears to be embracing the issue with a positive attitude.

Cresswell will be optimistic that his opportunity will come throughout Leeds’ extended season.

And hearing such kind words from his boss will be heartening.

Farke’s team appears to be hitting form, as they have now kept four consecutive clean sheets.

Furthermore, players like Joel Piroe and Georginio Rutter are gaining traction at the other end of the field.
