Everton duo Jesper Lindstrom and Jack Harrison could be on their way out of Goodison Park when the season ends, once their loan deals expire – though a report has stated that David Moyes likes the latter and could look to keep the Leeds United loanee, whilst sending Lindstrom back on his way to Serie A side Napoli.

With just nine goal involvements in 69 games for the Toffees over a two-year loan spell, it’s not been Harrison’s greatest run of his career having previously excelled in the Premier League – whilst Lindstrom’s loan spell has been equally underwhelming, unable to capture the form he showed earlier in his career. However, with a summer of change on Merseyside, Moyes has big decisions to make and keeping Harrison could reportedly be one of them.

The report by inews states that Everton’s summer transfer window promises to be one of the ‘biggest squad overhauls’ in Premier League history, and Moyes will be handed ‘significant power’ to oversee their rebuild – and with 13 players currently set to leave in the summer, the Scot must see which players he wants to keep.

Michael Keane, Orel Mangala and Armando Broja are all set to leave Goodison Park at the expiration of their contracts, with the latter duo being on loan on Merseyside – and the same questions will be asked of fellow loanees Lindstrom and Harrison, as they currently look set to see their combined £140,000-per-week loans expire.

However, the pair could undergo different fates in the summer – with the report stating that for Lindstrom, the ‘word’ is that he’s unlikely to be retained after what has been described as a ‘mediocre’ loan spell.

The Danish star signed for Napoli in 2023 from Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt, but he failed to make a dent in their campaign with 29 appearances resulting in no goals – and he’s suffered exactly the same fate at Everton, with the same amount of games failing to yield a single strike to his name, despite grabbing an assist in the 1-1 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers at the start of March.

GIVEMESPORT Key Statistic: Jesper Lindstrom has 18 caps for Denmark, scoring one goal.

Harrison, meanwhile, hasn’t fared much better with one goal and one assist in the Premier League so far this term – but the report states that Moyes likes his attitude, and seems open to the former Manchester City youngster staying at the club if they can thrash out a deal with newly-promoted Leeds for his services.
