Sead Haksabanovic has been named Stoke City’s Player of the Month.
Sead Haksabanovic has had a successful debut for Stoke City after coming on a one-year loan from Celtic. Following a contentious Instagram post at the end of the summer, the Montenegrin internationalist left Glasgow.
So far, the attacker has impressed in the Midlands. The 24-year-old has one goal and one assist in four Stoke City starts. His results have also been excellent.
Haksbanovic’s form has earned him his club’s Player of the Month award for September:
The treble winner seemed to have found his level in the English Championship. He never got going at Celtic, but he has in the few weeks he has been at the bet365 stadium.
A drop in level in terms of the team for which the player is playing and an improvement in form are not coincidental. It’s nice to see Haksbanovic doing well, but based on recent circumstances, it’s difficult to imagine him having a future in Glasgow.
