I’ve Improved Insists Wolves Start After Loan Exit

Daniel Podence, who is currently on loan at Wolves, claims he has improved as a player since signing a season-long deal with Olympiacos on Tuesday.

Podence has signed a new contract with Wolves that spans until 2025, with a one-year extension option.

The Portuguese star is no stranger to Olympiacos, having moved to Molineux from the Greek club in 2020.

Podence argued that he had improved as a player since rejoining the Super League giants.

He also stated that he now views matches differently and that the Greek team can expect good results from him.

“I think I’ve become a much better player after four years,” Podence told Olympiacos’ internal media.

“I have the same quality and speed in 1v1s, but now I think I have a little bit more goals and assists because I am older and look at the matches differently.”

“And I believe I’ve improved as a player.”

“As a result, you can expect goals, assists, and really good performances in terms of quality and some magic from me.”

Wolves manager Gary O’Neil restructured his team this summer to accommodate the Premier League club’s budgetary restraints.

This summer, the club worked hard to balance the books and saw a slew of outgoings through the door at Molineux.
